I mean they always have the black female as the "go to" person for the answers, or the one who wins the "I can get onilne faster than you" race. Who likes this? Have we gone too far when we all know that this is statistically not supported by reality?

How would I be jealous of an intentional misportrayal of reality?

two words: political correctness

it's reverse racism, everyone thinks white people think they are so much better than blacks, so they try to 'balance it out' or something by doing things like what you are talking about.

it seems like white people have to balance on egg shells because they are afraid of being accused of racism if they do one thing that is not politically correct. it's just ridiculous.

and reality doesn't matter in these people's minds. it has to be politically correct even if it's not reality. it's like they want everything to be even but they have actually made racism worse in their quest for exact equality between every race.

When you say statistically supported by reality do you mean the smart part, because black people, whether you've been there to witness it or not have won many things related to athleticism, also there are many smart black people in the world, once again just because YOU haven't witnessed it doesn't mean it isn't true. Besides its just a commercial, meant to sell people things they didn't really need but think they do, just chill out a flip to a channel where a white person is winning something if it will make you feel better.

I see nothing wrong with showing positive role models of black people. Where did you get your imformation that black people are not positive role models. There are many. Do your research before you ask an ignorant (without facts) question. We have lost our way in many things but I don't think this is one of them. Good Luck with your research. Don't forget to look on the Oprah page.

GET SOME HELP!

You must have a lot of time on your hands to sit and watch commercials and then worry about whether a black or white person "appears" to be winning.

Why does it matter? Why does it bother you?

" we all know that this is statistically not supported by reality "

Really? What *do* we know that is statistically supported by reality?
Would you like black actors be relegated to KFC commercials? How about a bunch of Asians selling calculators on TV? Women who wear aprons & talk about which detergent gets the stains out of their husbands' shirts best? Is that closer to YOUR reality?

Black people are intelligent so what do u mean in reality we aren't winners or the people to go to for information??? Statistics aren't always correct and u shouldn't just take info from statistics and not life experience, you don't know ALL black people just like i don't know ALL white people!!! So are u thinking in reality? Why do u take commercials so seriously anyway? commercials are designed to appeal to a certain group of people and to sell a product, that's reality. In my opinion you need to get a life!!!!!!!!!!!!

Why is it that you feel that African Americans aren't worthy enough to be in a commercial that allows for society to see that, yes, we are intelligent beings capable of everything any other culture is? Oh and please point me in the direction of any sound, scientific, intelligent information that can "statistically" support the generalization that blacks are an inferior people. I'd really love to know what exactly the scientific community at large would have to say.

Which TV Channel do you watch that appears to run only those commercials? You have not made any indication of comparison with any other commercials. You seem to feel threatened.

does it matter the point of the commercial is either to sell you something or make you believe that you need something it has nothing to do with race or ethnicity. It seems to me like a lot of people are just trying to find a reason to be prejudiced.

Good question for discussion...but can I play the devils advocate, just for a second!

Don't we always win anyway??

Listen, it's about time Black Females are represented in a positive light...funny, it's Statistical for us to appear like winners, have answers, or just seem a little bit intelligent...but it's ALRIGHT and pretty much the norm for us to be B**** and H***!!!

Child please-
