I agree with Sugar and Donna, I think it's D, day care center. I worked in a day care center for years and we were frequently visited by inspectors and auditors. Now I work for Head Start and we are following the state regs pretty much but are only self-assessed, except for occasional federal visits.

Im kind of feeling "A or C." One of the reason there r not as many accredited. Although daycares r often monitored and inspected...in home and family facilities also has to be monitored for foul play and inconsistencies.

It depends on the funding sources. I work at a day care and we are always being audited, monitored, and assessed. We are funded by numerous agencies and NAEYC accredited.
