It is not unusual for the iron content in multivitamins to cause nausea. Try taking them at night after dinner or after lunch on a full stomach. If they still want to make you hurl, try one lower in iron or without iron. Or take one with more vitamin B6 which is an antinausea. You might also check out GNC and ask about vitamins that are time release.

i have problem with most of multivitamin, they just make me nauseous and even dizzy. what i found out is that there are probably some minerals my body doesnt need.
also at different times of month even the ones i do tolerate make me nauseous so i dont take them for a couple of days.
find ones that have about 100% of daily requirement of all vitamins in them, take them with food and a glass of water. the best time - with breakfast.

Quality is everything. Most multivitamins are made from petroleum-derived chemicals and are not very bioavailable. You want to be taking something that is 100% food-based and made by a company with a documented quality control plan.

The iron makes a lot of people nauseous.

Try a brand without iron.

Also take them with food and plenty of water.

you might be taking it on an empty stomach? don't. take a FULL goass of water with your vitaming and make sure you do it after a meal (breakfast) don't lie down right after or during when you take it. don't exercise right after also. if those don't help try switching to another brand, get a pharmacist to help you out.

Always take vitamins with food, you won't digest them well on an empty stomach.
