How can I get the TN DMV handbook translated from English to Farsi (preferably for free)? I'm trying to help a neighbor! She cannot pass the written exam due to the language barrier.

If she is living in TN, which at last check was part of the USA, and is where ENGLISH is the language spoken, why should she be allowed the PRIVILEGE of driving until she can understand the rules of the road, in English?

If you want to help your neighbor, help her to learn to speak and read the language. Until she can read and understand road signs, she should not be on the road!!!

I am tired of people expecting us to adapt to them They moved here! Let them adapt to the ways of their new home

She needs to learn to read, write and speak english. Why should we conform to her language barrier? I would certainly hope that no state would grant a license to a person who can't READ the f****** road signs in this country. We already have too many illegal aliens driving without license and insurance in this country as it is.

Maybe she should be able to read English before she tries to drive here? Not a bad idea, is it? Driving sometimes involves being able to understand written directions, signs, etc.
