People? or your pets, as this is the Rodent section? lol
No, if it is fresh paper, it won't harm you or your pet. Newspaper is actually commonly consumed by rodents, as the ink is sometimes made from vegitable extract, and they like the taste. While getting a hold of some every once and a while won't hurt, it shouldn't be consumed in the place of a meal.

Unless the paper has been in the trash near decomposing items or dragged along the ground. It is very unlikely, worms that people get are parasites and cannot live on their own for very long. If this paper is paper that you bought from office max, staples don't worry. the parasite could not live through the heat in the processing.

Oh, what? Worms don't live in paper so no, eating it will only cause a hamster gut problems if it isn't digestible.

in order for someone to get worms, there must first be worm eggs. i doubt their are any internal parasites that can survive processing, packing, shipping, etc. so i would say no.
although i don't think paper is digestible so i wouldn't recommend it.
