Questions like this imply that Jehovah's Witnesses are interested in becoming popular, but that is simply not true. The ONLY opinions of ongoing interest to a true Witness are those of Jehovah and Christ Jesus. Those who work to ingratiate themselves with some human or human group are not doing God's will.
(1 Thessalonians 2:4) We speak, as pleasing, not men, but God, who makes proof of our hearts.
(Matthew 6:20,21) Store up for yourselves treasures in heaven... For where your treasure is, there your heart will be also.
Jehovah's Witnesses have the true religion. They are Christian (of course), but they are unique for their rejection of paganisms, use of God's personal name, and global preaching by every active adherent. No other religious organization can claim such purity of worship.
These facts about Jehovah's Witnesses are perhaps relevant to this question. The more one compares this Christian religion with others, the more remarkable it is shown to be.
1. Jehovah's Witnesses have no paid clergy. Yet they remain tightly organized with more than 6.5 million active Jehovah's Witness preachers (about 16 million associate themselves with the religion). Even fulltime preachers and workers at their branch offices are unpaid volunteers.
2. There is no elite class among Jehovah's Witnesses. Even the few 'anointed' among them enjoy no special privileges in their congregations on earth. An anointed person (one of those relative few with a heavenly hope) is not elevated above his fellow congregants in any way, and he may not even qualify for appointment as a simple 'deacon' or elder. There are no titles; EVERYONE is addressed as 'brother' or 'sister'.
3. No person benefits economically from the Christian Congregation of Jehovah's Witnesses. Even the 8 to 20 men who serve on their Governing Body receive simply room, board, medical care, and reimbursement for certain personal expenses according to the exact same provision as every other branch volunteer.
4. About a hundred men have served on Jehovah's Witnesses' Governing Body committee during the past 125 years or so. The vast majority of them have spent the vast majority of their adult lives volunteering for their organization's purposes, and the vast majority have died faithfully and near-pennilessly while still under their legal 'vow of poverty'.
5. Amazingly, Jehovah's Witnesses did not splinter as a sect from some other religion. Instead, a truly tiny but sincere group of bible students studied only the Scriptures to determine the will of God. Thus their religion remains absolutely independent of and not carrying the sins of Christendom's history, yet carries the authority of Christ's teachings.
6. Despite the distortions of anti-Witnesses, throughout their modern history Jehovah's Witnesses have refused to claim divine inspiration or infallibility for their teachings. They have pointed to the bible (and not any particular translation) as the only inspired infallible means of knowing God's thoughts. For over 125 years, their teachings have been presented as merely the results of sincere bible research by imperfect but godly humans.

I don't hate Jehovah's Witnesses.
I do respect them.
I do not make fun of them at all. At least not seriously. I have a co-worker who is a Witness and I give her a hard time every now and then but I do that just to mess around.
Yes, i do enjoy being around Jehovah's Witnesses. It's so pleasant being around them. They don't curse, smoke, and always looking for the best out of a person. when I complain about people at work, my JW co-worker would always tell me, "well, instead of looking at their negative side, why not ponder on the positive things?" Hey, she's no saint but she tries. LOL. To be honest, everyone respects her because they know she's a Jehovah's Witness. We know she has good and high morals, decent, and she's honest. Our boss trusts her completely. It's annoying sometimes but I respect her for that. She's the only one I really vent to because i know she can be trusted.
Jehovah's Witnesses are not a cult. I am not one of them so please believe me. I've been to their KHs a number of times and no weird rituals and WOW! no idols or statues of saints! Those really scare me but in their KH, it's just like a chapel but without the scary features! No plates being passed around for donation and every one is dressed decently and are very friendly. They also have beautiful songs! what really impressed me was that their prayers where from the heart and what comes up into their minds. Not memorized or repetitious.
i've read some comments made here (Y Q&A) how some left the religion because JWs are brainwashed and a cult.
The truth is, me, being a catholic christian, believe that Jehovah's Witnesses are a lot closer to be being the true religion than any other religion I know.

do you hate them? Kinda when I was a child because I couldn't understand why they believe that way but since I investigate their religion one or more than [last] year I start to realized that they have truth. So I don't hate them.
do you respect them? Yes, of course! I love those people. I wish I have same nice lifestyle as them.
do you make fun of them? No.
do you enjoy being around them? Yes. I also love seeing Jehovah's Witness wears nice clothes and being courteous.
have you even heard of them? Yes. I first heard about Jehovah's Witnesses when I was about 10 [or a bit more] year old in Six Flag aka Great America.

I think we Witnesses are, people. Every Witness I know, just like every non Witness I know, has there own tastes, likes, dislikes, etc.
I try to not hate anyone, do I always succeed? No.
As for Respect, I have a measure of respect for most anyone who after researching things, makes a choice to politely but firmly follow their beliefs.
I try to not make fun of others in general, especially to not poke fun at them having firm beliefs.
I enjoy being around people, mostly based on the kind of person they are, of course it is at times easier to get along with people who have common interests.
Yes I have most certainly heard of Witnesses, there are several million of us now.

I'm suspicious of them. Even looking at the answers to your question, there were some really good ones here, but nearly every one of the responses that were non-JW, got a "thumbs down." This is consistent with every question that has the words "Jehovah's Witness" in it, these are not friendly people, unless of course you're a Jehovah's Witness. That kind of "faith" scares me, and they have yet to prove me the love that they profess.

I don't know much about them, honestly. I can't hate them because of that. I respect that they have their own religious beliefs. I don't make fun of them. I don't have any friends who are Jehovah's Witness, but if I did, their faith wouldn't bother me. I would, however, be interested to hear about what they believe. Obviously, I have heard of them.

What's the point in asking other people to answer your questions - unless it's to get other people to make up your own mind? What do YOU think of them?
An even better question is, What do you think of CHRIST? Do you hate him? Do you respect him? Do you make fun of him? Do you enjoy being around him? Have you even heard of him? The more Christ-centred people are, the more lovely they become. Although JWs talk a lot about Christ, hardly any of them have the Spirit of Christ dwelling in them (that's their own teaching, by the way - I'm not accusing them - it's actually true.) Spirit-filled Christians reach out to JWs in love, even if it has to be tough love.

people who know nothing about Jehovah Witnesses will say we are a cult. they are not christian. well to answer your questions we are not a cult. a cult worships man, we worship Jehovah God and do what his son Jesus Christ commanded at Matthew 28 verses 19 and 20. we are Christians. we live in our own homes. I love Jehovah Witnesses all around the world in 236 lands. we are a brother and sisterhood. how are we strict. we don't sleep around, we don't celebrate pagan holidays. we do have parties and give gifts during the year. why because we don't take blood. I would never take blood even if I was not a Jehovah Witness

They are Christians, but they don't believe like I do. I don't hate them, no reason for that. I respect them since they are people too. I don't make fun of them, they are people with feelings just like me, a Pentecostal. I don't know too many; I had a friend that was/is one of them. I have heard of them.

You want to really know what I believe?
I have finally found a group of people I can trust.
I feel so safe and secure when I am at assemblies and the hall.
No one steals, or lies, or wants you hubby or wife. I trust my kids and grand kids with them. I could leave $100,000 on the kitchen table and they wouldn't touch it.
But when I needed to go to the hospital they were there to take me....when my dad died they came for different states to help me cope.....when my son got in a wreck everyone came out of the woodwork to be gracious and kind.
They are a happy, joyous people and i love them.
