Should I start busting people out?
I've figured out who a lot of the report happy people are. Since they want to run around trying to get people suspended who don't agree with them, should I just bust them out now and people can start avoiding them and their questions? I figure after a while of having only themselves to talk to,they might get the point. Opinions?

P.S. If this gets deleted, I will definitely bust out! I don't care one bit about losing my account at this point.

My question is how do you know those were the people that reported you? It sounds to me like she is the one that likes to report.

I think you guys are confused. I didn't report anyone this is all Micky's question. I don't agree with her. I think she's the coward for reporting people.

I agree with you, this is insane! My content got deleted because I chewed out this one girl that tried to drum up some sympethy for illegal immigrants with a video. And then i said what I thought, as well as posted a video in response in my answer. Her question was- "Want to know how it feels to be an illegal alien?"

I can't believe that! I'm not racist, but it seems like Yahoo! Answers are getting to be like congress, putting the true american people down, and giving rights and everthing willy nilly to the illegals, just because I was defending my country in a verbal patriotic way. I didnt even use any explicit language. Everyone has the right to freedom of speech, and apparently Y! Answers are infringing on that right.

I might not agree with other people but what's the point of reporting them .... the forum is here so people with different opinions can speak out.

I don't report people as I think that is truly cowardly which is why I busted people out that do. I was taking a stand and hoping some people would realize that not everyone is going to keep taking crap. I was hoping it would make people realize the ridiculous level they took it to but aparently they still don't get it.
To the questioner,i'm sure you are an upset little pro who is using a fake account because you finally got put in your place. If you want to act like a child, I will treat you like one.

I can't believe people spend that much time reporting other people. If you ask a question and are afraid of the answers you may get, don't ask the question at all. When you put yourself out there (anywhere), you have to expect responses you think are offensive and don't agree with. That's life. That's what makes YA! so cool. I can read someone's crazy answer and get a good laugh......always works.

The site has rules for a reason. Freedom of speech is one thing...outright racism and ignorance is another. If you don't have an answer to a question that is well thought-out, pertinent and informative, then why answer? Go spread racist comments somewhere else. I have read metro's and shorty1's questions and answers and at no point in time have they every been rude or innappropriate as I have seen in MANY other postings, and if you are getting reported then my guess would be that your postings have fit into the ignorant and racist category which is against Y!A policies.

"Busting" them is not going to help your cause, in fact, in may help us to have more educated conversations on issues as we add them to our contacts and answer the questions they post while avoiding yours??

Immigration is NOT a race issue, and when people turn it into one and start degrading someone's race, it's not right. You can be anti-illegals and not be racist, they don't have to go hand-in-hand.

I read my violation notices with my morning coffee. It guarantees that I start the day off with a laugh.
When this account is gone, I'll start over again. What the hell am I going to do with the points anyway...trade them in for a toaster oven?

Now I'm going to go put my ice skates on because hell must have just frozen over. I actually agree with Angel de La Guardia and gave him a thumbs up. I'm an Anti, and people can bring it on anyway they like. I don't report. Only crybaby weenies report.

Well, I kind of like Angela R and Chee (even if the monkey did block me). I blocked a couple based on this and made my Q&A private, though. I HAVE had someone (unknown who) go through my old questions and 'report' best answers. Y/A generally gave me the points back, but I didn't like it much.

As to Micky, I have no idea if she reports people or not. Me, I only do it if people are obscene (there was this guy posting triple-x links for a while) or outrageously abusive to someone -- on either side of the debate. Why be here if you can't hear all sides?

I think the whole repoting and hiding answers thing SUCKS!!!

I am Pro-Immigrant but i WONT report anyone because that is not freedom of speech, something i strongly value and believe
