I'd like to test this kind of circular logic in the real world. get pulled over by a police officer...
"Why were you speeding?"
"Because I was going fast."
Think my argument would get me out of a ticket?

No where is the Bible does the Bible say it is without error, the word error is used 17 times and none say what you just said, and truth does not need to affirm itself, truth is truth, and lies are lies. Why are you threatened by the book anyways. It was not written for you, so get on with your life do good to your fellow man and live peacefully, don't worry you may live longer. You have no religion so stop preaching as if you do?

Good examples of why NO one should *actively* proselytize.
As a Christian, I do it because Jesus gave His followers a "Great Commission" to do so. But for me, METHOD is everything. Offering tracts to people on streets (as I've done in Russia, but strangely enough, not here in the USA. Russians don't look at you like you're crazy when you do that, and are very friendly) -- and putting tracts out in places where people will find them (which I HAVE done here in the USA) are *passive* ways to proselytize. It gets the job done, for those whom God wants to reach. And it offends no one.

First of all, Jewish MYSTICISM such as Kabbalah are NOT Jewish by ANY stretch.....
The BIBLE as a whole....as IN the KJV (1611), the entire Genesis thru Revelation...the Old and New Covenant....are the ONLY PROVEN scriptures.
If a book were published AFTER a best seller; then along comes another book that MIRRORS it and twists it; ALL WRITERS AND PUBLISHERS would surely call that PLAGIARISM! That is what I believe the Quran to be. It is a copy of the bible, twisted to meet Satan's agenda.
All of the prophesies dated to now have come to pass with 100% accuracy. Do some research and you will find this to be 100% true. I choose to believe in a GOD who stands by HIS WORD, and changes NOT. I choose to follow the ONLY GOD and not some god who tells its followers to KILL THEIR ENEMIES rather than to love them, and pray for them.
And finally:
The real, ONLY GOD....who created the entire universe and all therein...who sent HIS SON to DIE for OUR REDEMPTION......HE is my final authority....so when His word reads "Because GOD says this or that"../......that indeed is what I know to be the absolute truth.
PS....Your essay may actually be without error. :)
YHVH Bless thee in Yeshua His Son,

When God came to regret his creation of man, who had gone wicked, according to the Bible he caused a great flood to come onto the earth and destroy all men except Noah and his family. So then, according to the Bible account God was not without error and he admitted his error. According to the Qur'an, Allah said Muhammed was his last Prophet and that men had twisted the messages of his Prophet, Jesus. In doing so,God was saying he erred in his judgment of the reliability of men. In the OldTestament, God is the fearful one asking Abraham to kill his son to prove his love for him. But God's personality changes gradually from hostility to men of sin in the Old Testament to one of a benign and more forgiving nature in the New Testament. So he sends his son Jesus to preach a better way. By this personality change, God is admitting his old ways were in error in his judgment and ambitions for his creation, mankind. Your essay will not be in error if you judge on the basis of recorded fact. In closing, God's creation, us, was not in vain or in error because we all have free will and we go our own way which is often not God's way. He can do no wrong, but we can, abundantly.

you've not read any of these texts obviously because your question is flawed. the bible and the qur'an both say something like doing things because it's best for your own salvation, God's like, "Hey, do these things, pray, give to the needy, forgive, be peaceful. I don't have to worry about these things because I'm God, I'm just tryna help YOU out..." I've never read the tanakh...

Keri Gee stated "truth doesn't always = factuality".
I'm curious as to how you arrived at this conclusion? Isn't the truth always factual?

Nowhere in the Bible does it say it is without error, and even if it did, that would be erroneous. Anyway, who cares? Truth doesn't always = factuality.
