I have no way of getting to a gym and is much more conveniant for me to do exercises at home due to not much time to devote going to a gym. If anyone can point a few good exercises that I can benefit from as I would go to a gym, that'd really be helpful and lessen my hassle of looking online for them. Thanks a lot in advance.

forget about isometrics. if you aren't exercising the muscle over the entire range of motion you aren't really doing much in terms of increasing functional strength or increasing the heart rate. do push ups, pull ups, plyometrics, 8-count bodybuilders, sprints, jump rope, etc.
