I am a non-denominational Christian male, and Satan has begin to tempt me with homosexuality. I need help, but I don't want to turn to family because that is embarrassing. It feels like I like boys and girls, but I don't know what to do. Satan is tempting me, and I don't want to like them. How can I make these feelings stop? Also has Satan ever tempted you with this? Thanks, I need alot of help.

Yes he's tempted me with it. I opened myself up to attack by watching rocky horror one too many times. It took a year of resisting, but in the end he fled, just like the word promises.

I'd recommend contacting Exodus:

God bless....

If you don't feel that your family can help you (though they might surprise you), could you try talking with a spiritual leader in whatever Christian group you associate with. If you don't don't have a Christian group association, you ought to pray long and hard about whether you truly understand what it is to BE a Christian. You don't mention your age, but does your reference to "boys and girls" imply a prurient interest in children? If so, then you have even bigger concerns than homosexual urges.

Pray, pray, and pray...get into a good Church and find a support group they are out there...they do have groups with formerly gay members, and people struggling with it..You cannot make the feelings stop, but you can ask the Lord to strengthen you to not act on them..Satan does tempt us with areas he knows we struggle with.

Fighting against something only makes that something stronger. Letting the unwanted urges pass through you by acknowledging them, then expelling them is the best way to weaken them. Also, instead of focusing on detrimental thoughts, try focusing on positive thoughts constantly.

Hope this helps

Technically to Christians, the urges aren't sinful it's the act.

Personally, I don't think there's anything wrong with homosexuality, Jesus never preached against it.

Satan isn't tempting you dude, it's called your inner demons that maybe you've been trying to hide from.
Point is, do what you gotta do, like what you gotta like. Screw everyone else. Stop trying so hard to pretend to be someone your not. Just let it all out, and be proud.

Go to a Christian counselor. This is not a self help issue.

We are born gay. Satan uses supposed Christians to confuse homosexuals and to push them away from God's love and grace.

Make sure your faith is in God and not in man. Man will fail you...God will not. Find a church that preaches love, not judgment.
