I have a round face too and I have learned that your hair length should below the shoulder and layered. I have read this in "In Style" and "Cosmopolitan" magazines...also by trial and error. Bangs are a good choice too...just not too short or too long that they almost cover your eyes. Good Luck!

first of all you're able to save your hair length under your chin. sidestep jaw-length bobs in case you have a around face, short hair can intensify the roundness of your face, yet some textured layers could make it artwork. besides the indisputable fact that it easily relies upon on the feel of your hair, in case you have curly hair, decrease in layers to weigh it down yet curls works large with around faces as long because of the fact the curl starts under the lips. And in case you want bangs propose you get for a "image, curved shape...and be optimistic bangs are thick, shorter interior the middle and longer on the components. Shoulder-length hair is flattering on all face shapes because of the fact it is not too long and it is not too short.

Link to article about selecting flattering hair cuts for each face shape w/ photos: http://beauty.about.com/od/hairbasics/a/flattering.htm

If you want bangs go for longer, side bangs. Short bangs straight across will create a strong horizontal line & might make your face look rounder.
This hair cut is versatile & easy to style: http://www.matrix.com/find_your_hair_style/medium/style_09.aspx?scroll=639
The side swept bangs & layers can be adjusted by the stylist to suit your face & enhance your features.

keep your hair short on the sides, with most of the volume on top - this makes your face look more oval.. also, avoid long bangs which make your forehead look small
ask your hairstylist for ideas, they will be glad to give you advice!

i think you should keep it long, with long layered angles to makes you face look longer...
people with rouder faces tend to look young so the bangs may make you look even younger....
