I know I need to talk to my doctor about this, and I will, But first I want to do my own research. I've read all about the procedure and the risks and the benefits but I really want to talk to some people who have first hand experience. I want to know how it felt, if it was worse or better than they thought it would go, was it worth it, and if you have or have not experience complications. Please tell me about how it went and would you reccomend it to someone.

This site helped me out tons:

http://www.breasthealthonline.com

I had it done Feb 2006, 38J to 38C, and I do not regret it one bit.

I had no pain after the operation, and my back issues were GONE.

I recommend this surgery for anyone who has big breasts and health problems. It will greatly benefit you!

There is much more I have to say, but it would never fit into this block, send me your email if you want and I'll send you my experience.

My sister had a reduction done at 16 due to back problems, and it well for her. She had a total of 5 lbs taken off her chest. She said it was painful, and took some getting used to, but if they grew back tomorrow, she would be at the hospital doing it all over again. She had a small infection in the right breast, but was quickly cleared up with antibiotics. She felt better, lighter, no back pain, and was more comfortable and confident in everything as she wasn't trying to hide her chest all the time. She was even better in sports without her boobs in the way all the time. Just seeing the change in her, and the benefits to her health was amazing. She has said she would recomend it to anyone. The benefits outweighed the discomfort of surgery 100 times over. Her biggest obstacle was avoiding being bumped into when she went back to school. She said it was the best thing she could have done for herself. Good luck to you.

Breast reduction surgery is very safe nowadays. My cousin got her breast reduction, tummy tuck and facelift surgery in India by the company called Tour2india4health Consultants .The Price for the surgery she paid in India was very less. She paid 30% of the cost she was quoted in America.

Tour2india4health Consultants is very famous in India. They arrange cosmetic and plastic surgery for foreigners in India. I read a lot about them in the Newspapers and about their patient stories. They arrange financing for USA, Canadian, UK and other international patients who plan to have surgery abroad for low price, as the breast reduction, tummy tuck, facelift and other cosmetic surgery is not covered by insurance. They also have photos pasted of their International patients. You can checkout their website. There are huge cost savings. As a doctor I personally believe that surgery can be easily handled in India, as the quality of healthcare available In India is simply best in the world. The surgeons are USA/UK trained and facilities are 5 star.

Hope this helps.

A woman at work had it done and my hubby's boss's sister had it done. I am friends with both the co-worker and hubby's boss and both the co-worker and the bosses sister are thrilled with the results and wish they had done the reduction sooner.
