I know that some crushes are short and some last for along time, when is it too long that its time to move on???

Well, I've personally never been able to control when I stop liking someone; it just kind of happens. Some of my crushes have lasted all of a month and others well over six months. I feel it's better to just let crushes run their course naturally. Maybe other people disagree and think you should "get over" someone after whatever amount of time, but I've always done it my way.

Depends.
I had a crush on this beautiful dancer in school. Loved her from afar for five years. Then, ran into her on the street, and we've been together ever since (23 years last week).
In the intervening time, we both married other people, but were separated when we met. Perhaps if I had just maintained my "crush" for another year or so, I could have spared myself some pain. But it has been great for the last couple of decades.

There is no one answer. Someone can think that someone is insane if they have a crush on someone for years.
But that's life. The thing is you might have a crush on this person, but that does not mean you do not think of others in the time.
Who knows how long it can last? It'll go eventually, unless you're feeling something else.

this is kinda long, but one of my crushes lasted two yrs, another 1, another 3 months, there is no time to stop a crush until u can honestly accept the fact that they don't like u, and u might not go out with them

I had a crush last for almost 5 years. There is no precise "too long" nor are you a psychopath if it lasts over a year or something. It's different for everyone. Once you're over them...you're over them. You can't just wake up and decide "Oh, I don't want to like them anymore" and it's over.

Too long is when they are with someone else, and you are sitting on the sideline still hoping you have a chance. MOVE ON!!! If you feel she is crushing on you too make a move. Otherwise find another crush, don't crush on someone for YEARS!!!

my longest action picture star cursh is johnny depp! i loooooved him because i became into 3 i just to be close to to the television watchin each circulate he did! i think of I certainly have watched each action picture i fell for him in the action picture edward scissor hands! now im 21! hes stilll my guy in my international! hahaha
