IKEA can be nice/cheap, but you may want to consider how long you want the furniture to last.

Try: http://www.homelement.com
or for more resources: http://www.efurnituresale.com

Good luck!

You need to understand that used funriture is not the end of the world. Get new sofas, but why get a $300 entertainment center when you can get one for just $100 on Craigslist or at a used furniture store?

"Rooms to Go" or "City Furniture" - they have pretty much the cheapest furniture around. Although a lot of their things look nice, don't expect them to last more than 5 years. They are commonly referred to the "disposable furniture" suppliers.

Just refurbish your old furniture. Paint it, upholster, recover. It can be even cheaper. And save the furniture you do have.
