There are only a few shops at the Pike like a Borders bookstore and a Long Beach Clothing store, but that is pretty much it.

However just north of 3th street is the shopping area called the City Place Long Beach. It has major department stores, and is very close by:

There are also a bunch of small shops at the Shorline Village on the other side of the convention center, but like the Pike it's just stuff for tourists.

Tourist junk at the Pike across the street. Although there is a tattoo shop within walking distance of the convention center.

City Place can be dicey after dark.

The big PIKE shopping mall is right next door..
