How lovey-dovey is your cat?

I'll answer this myself later....
But what about you?
-are you often screaming and clawing to get out from under your needy and loving animal(s)?

-do you get plenty but not too much attention from your feline?

-does the amount of affection equal the amount of food given?

-do you feel like you're often sucking up to your kitty just to get it to rub against your leg?

-does "lovey-dovey" and "cat" sound like they don't belong in the same sentence?

-or does your cat act like it might get a disease from you and would only approach with small kitty gloves, and definitely only to make sure you weren't dead?

I have 6 diffrent cats with diffrent personalities.
Oldest one is Billy ~ He is about 8 years old. Every night he has to sleep on my chest. If he is outside before I go to bed he will climb up my antena pole to the second story and meow until I open the screen to let him in. He likes to talk alot!
Brandy~ She is about 5 years ~ She likes to be left alone. She dont care for the other cats in the house. She is outside and comes in only to eat. But in the winter time she is inside all the time.
Kassy~ Brandys son~ He is my 3 year old with asthma. He is a lovey. He loves to smear his face in your hands and wants love constantly!
Smokey~ Kassys sister ~ She likes to walk on the computer table when you are on the net and she really likes to go outside on her harness. She too loves to be loved. If you dont pet her she will rear up like a horse and dive into your leg to get your attention.
Sammy ~ Well she is an interesting cat. I rescued her when she was about 4 weeks old. She doesnt eat hard cat food only soft. She just likes to hid out. But she loves to lay in your lap when you are watching TV.
Momma ~ She is Sammys mom she was rescued also. She can be a bi***, she likes to be outside. She dont care for the other cats. She really hates being brushed! I had to shave her before summer came because her matts were so bad. But she is a good girl.
I love all my cats !!!! They are all spayed and neutered and UTD on all shots.

I easily have 4 cats whom all have distinctive personalities. all of them like to be petted and performed with each and every so often yet one specially is often with me. If I take a seat, shes top on my lap. If I walk from one end of the living house to the different ... she follows. She even sits outdoors the bathe on a padded bench and waits for me to get out. She greets me on the door once I come living house. She sleeps on my tummy at nighttime under the covers. i'm prepared on it ... and have no court docket situations. She has continuously been cuddly yet much extra so over the final 3 hundred and sixty 5 days. My vet pronounced that its because of the fact shes been by way of a lot medically ( she has megacolon ) and that i'm a secure haven for her ... she is familiar with I take as ultimate care of her as a can and whilst shes ill Im continuously together with her making shre she is okay. So the vet pronounced there's a particular attachment there ... makes me sense large. :) savor it!

I have two cats: Baily is my 6 year old mushy lover boy cat. he head rubs just about everyone and he LOVES feet! You can pick him up & rub his belly & carry him like a baby! He is also not the brightest bulb. Cami is my 3 year old spazy cat. She is loving pretty much only to me, or when my lap is unavailable she will sit on hubbys lap for a minute or two. She kneads my stomach and sometimes she even falls asleep on my lap. cami is a smart little pain in the butt. Both cats are full of their own unique personality and they are both my "babies"!

whenever I try to read the newspaper my cat decides to sit on my lap between me and the paper. If I lay on the floor to do sit ups she lays beside me until I am finished. This morning she decided to rub my nose with hers. She races me up the stairs to the bedroom at night and sleeps on my bed. I am glad she doesn't rub against my legs. Cat's personalities are as varied as ours. My son's three cats are very different and none of them are lap cats. My sister just got a 7 week old kitten that had spent its short life in a stall in a horse barn with its mother and 3 siblings. The kitten is amazingly docile and loves to be petted and sleep in my sister's arms.

I have two cats. My number one kitty (Baby BB TopCat) is definately a girl with her own mind, but she absolutely ADORES me! And it is in no way determined by the type or amount of food given to her. She tolerates my two teenaged boys. She will do anything for me, BUT if she does not agree with my wishes, she will let me know by giving me a short definitive meow before going ahead and doing what I am asking of her.

The boy cat is a dufus. (his name is Pasha) He will rub and purr against anyone's leg, and spazes out if the leg moves, lol! Real lover boy kitty but not much brains if ya know what I mean.

my cat is very non responsive. he doen't care if you pick him up and flip him around for a while. he just lays there in your arms and doesn't try to get away until you put him down. he's quite young and has plenty of energy (he books it from room to room for no reason sometimes) and I'm beginning to wonder if he's retarded.... just kidding. he's just the best cat ever made. (although he does want to eat the three kittens I have.... probably a dominance thing.)

I have two little boys. One loves, loves, loves my husband and could take me or leave me. He does come and snuggle under the covers at night, on occasion. Oh- and if I have chicken then he's definitely in love with me.

The other is my little love bug and I love him to pieces, BUT when I pet him/love him he starts licking and drooling. It wouldn't be so bad, but he's got to nuzzle my mouth, nose, eyes and ears while he does it. By the time he falls asleep or gets down, I am WET with cat drool.

My cat hates everyone :oD

She's an independent grumpy bugger and hardly ever comes to me for attention, even at food time. She does purr and stretch and love it when I go to her though. I think she's just lazy and knows she doesn't have to approach me for love as someone will come to her eventually.

I call her grumpy puss usually :)

my one cat (bootsies) is 19 years old and will apoach you for a pet and you can pick him up and pet him all you want. I've had him for 7 years and he has scratched me only 2 tmes however..... when dogs come to our house he will chase them down and scratch them up and they will be running from him! my other cat (Aziza and maine coon tortoise-shell mix) I've had for about one year and she rubs against me and sits on my lap and if i pet bootsies one tiem in front of her, she'll scratch him all up! also she isn't nice to anyone but me since i saved her.

My kitty can be pretty lovey when she wants to be, but it has to be on her terms. If I haven't been home all day and I get home she'll somtimes jump up on the couch and cuddle with me, or roll around on the floor so I can pet her belly. But, I stress, it has to be on HER terms.
