I don't know how to get the ice cream out of the carton and still try to make it look nice (whenever i try to let the ice cream sit out for a while to let it get a little softer it always melts too much) like they do at the ice cream stores w/ an ice cream scooper.

dip the ice cream utensil in hot watter first for a few minutes, makes scooping out the frozen ice cream easier

You let the ice cream sit in the refrigerator for 20 minutes. Then take a small ice cream scoop and scoop several scoops into a dish, drizzle over the ice cream sauce of your choice, frest fruit and whipped cream and top with a sprig of mint.

Get a scooper like the ones at the stores and set it in the fridge to thaw it.

Freeze it solid in the carton, and with a serrated knife, cut it into 'slices' right through the carton. Serve with a sauce, or fresh fruit or both!
