I wouldn't.
Maybe back in like the 1800's it could be a possibility, but this is 2007. He could have been your father. And just thinking about that grosses me out.
If a man 26 years older than you likes you like that something isn't right.
But its your decision.

But I don't know how old you are, and age makes a difference, like:
16 and 42
20 and 46
25 and 51
30 and 56
35 and 61
40 and 66
45 and 71
do you see what I'm saying its just weird.

If he can support you in the fashion you wish to be accustomed to, even after he dies, maybe. Check with his children, will you have to fight for your inheritance? Find out how much you will have to work for your retirement. It may feel like a long way from now, but what if you, or he, gets hurt? How will you take care of each other? Medical bills kill more relationships than any other bills. Take it slow on this one, maybe you should just be very good friends.

That is the most ridiculous thing I have ever read. I can't believe people are telling you "You are Anna Nicole", "How old are you?", and "What!"

I can't believe the nerve of some people. It doesn't matter how old you are or your partner...as long as their is a mutual understanding, trust, and loyalty between you. You do what makes you happy. Not what you think is society's vision of "right"...because, you know...half the time, society has some ridiculous views on how life should be...

You cant understand him. Where he is in time-of-life is very different from where you are. The forces acting on him are not something acting on you, or available to you to be understood by you. If you try to make it work, that is a VERY LARGE difficulty to overcome.

How old is he going to be when your first child graduates high school? Is he going to be in a wheelchair?

Give this a LOT more thought.

Well, I don't know either of you so it's hard to say but I would be very cautious in this situation. Statistics say that the likely hood of this working out is very low but there is an exception to every rule. Good luck.

Age aint nothing but a number and love has no boundaries. If you love each other that is all that matter and people will always judge and be cynical, but don't let that define ur relationship. REMEMBER you know whats best for you and no one can tell u differently.

Depends on how old you are. If you are 30 and he is 56, then I say go for it.

If you are 15 and he is 41, then that is not acceptable, and it is child abuse, not love.

Not saying it cant work but in my opinion no. the age gap puts him in a different category..different priorities, goals, ideas that he has for his life vs where you are in yours and what your future may entale You may still want to explore dating...its probably the attraction which could lead to a physical attraction but probably in the long run you will want other things as will he. you may want kids he may not or cant.
