you can cook up liver and lots of red meat to give him strenght. add oatmeal to and atsp of olive oil for his fur.raw cabbage is also a natural worm killer for animals.also cook him a couple of eggs for extra protien 2 a week.pasta will fatten him up too. add a can of beef gravy and mix it he will be in doggie heaven. make sure he is wormed every month for while just in case the parasites are still lingering.i raised a wolf pup as a kid and he was the best family dog we ever had just really loyal and a one family dog. best of luck and enjoy your new best friend.these dogs are quite thin at first but they will fill out with good food and lots of love.my husky is about 110lbs now but for the first year or so he was quite thin.now at 6 we call him fat boy and i feed him people food and dry dog food for snacks. thanks for careing.

its hard to reverse something like that, but always feed him a very high quality food! It will ensure that the pup has good nutrition for body and muscle building growing. Beside he still has 6 months of good growing.
Good luck. And you are a great person to save this pups life

The vet should have given you advice on how to bring is size up a little. Make sure he is eating a quality brand PUPPY food and double check with you vet regarding and extra vitamins and nourishment he might need.

Getting rid of the worms will help a lot. They were in his intestinal tract eating up all his food. Feed him a good puppy (more calories) food. Vitamins might be indicated.

Just so you know, bigger dogs have shorter life spans. But, if you really want a huge dog, keep him on puppy food until he's 1-1.5 years old. It has lots of vitamins, etc, that help them grow.

This is a question for your vet. He is a large breed, and you must be very careful not to overfeed him, because if he grows too quickly he can develop bone and joint problems. If you want to put him on a special diet to maximise his growth, talk to your vet who will be able to recommend a diet that is specific to your dog.

once a day, mix 1 cup milk, 1 raw egg , 1tea spoon wheat germ, 1tbl spoon protein powder. use mixer or blender. Let him drink this once a day. This will make him very strong and heavy with muscles. He will be very Buffed.

Follow the directions from your vet. I'm sure once the parasites are gone, he'll start to fill out.
