i didn't the last time i moved, but i did perform before moving into my current home though.

Would love to, but I use an alternative by burning frankincense or juniper leaves.

Can't find sage sticks for smudging here (unless it is sold in different packaging). Not this part of the world, at least. Its not very common (though I may be wrong, but its rare indeed)...

No. Certain types of plants like salvia divinorum, which some consider a sage, can cause trips, but the type you use for smudging doesn't. You may feel funny if you smoke it directly, but that's only from oxygen deprivation.

I usually smudge and bless a home before moving in and do the same to the house I am leaving.

I have used sage to clear the energy of my home and work space, but I haven't needed to in my current residence. It is a brand new home and so far there is no sign of any incompatable energy.

I perform them everyday just to rid the space of negative energy. Usually before and after my yoga practice as I'm sure that I have released toxic energies that need to be cleared. I really love it as a simple ritual.

No, I can't say that I do that. I don't believe that sage has some magical power that is going to cleanse my home. I think prayer is much more powerful than an herb I use in my chicken recipes.
