I had a friend ask me this and since I'm married with kids I feel that I'm a little out of the Christian dating loop. Hopefully you can help! How to Christian couples meet these days? How easy is it to simply find folks in church? Are there singles groups? Any suggestions?

Find out where christians hang out and go there.
I think that if you want to date a christian you should go to church too, not just for the dating but for you.
Oh, if a christian girl finds out that you are coming to church just because of her she will not be very impressed.

Not in a bar or houses of ill refute. These days, its hard because some so called christian girls actually lead double lives, one the church going and the other, well.. I don't think I have to elaborate. The best way is to get to know her, her family and the way she conducts herself outside the church. And your church, temple, congregation, whatever it is your group calls itself, could be a good place to meet them. Pray to God for guidance, it doesn't hurt to ask Him for help. You may be surprised that there are beautiful women who are spiritually minded too. And when you do, you'll feel much better knowing that the woman you've found not only is beautiful on the outside, but is also beautiful in the inside.

First of all pray for the right person. That's how I got my husband. I prayed first. I dated a couple of christain guys, but they didn't work out. Back in 2001, I met my husband at one of my dad's revivals. My husband and I met there, and we dated 6 mths and then got married. I have been with him going on 6 years know.
The best way to meet someone is in church. Sometimes churches have a Singles Ministry. All I can think of is pray about it.

Most churches have singles groups whether it is Sunday School or small group meetings. There are also Christian singles groups on a City/County level based on the denomination.

The longer you sit next to your bed and pray, the better chances are someone will just walk through the door. Yes, that was sarcastic. Go to church, and go to all the church events. Find out events in other areas close by and volunteer your time to help out with events or whatever. Meet people that way.

Tell your friend to network at church. There could be a singles group at his church or in the area. Perhaps friends from church know of single women he might be interested in.

Tell your friend to find a good church with a good selection of younger/or his aged parishioners...and join a singles group. It is a lot easier to find a nice Christian girl at church than to find one in a bar or on line =) Tell him to pray and ask God to bring her to him..

find a church with a singles/college & careers group that is active and busy. It may take a few tries to find the right church with the right group.
i am currently encouraging a good friend of mine to go this route by coming to the one at the church i attend and if it is not comfortable for him, for him to try another area church w/a similar group.

I'd like to know the same thing being a young, single Christian myself.
But anyway, eHarmony.com as well as good Christian dating sites might work but they do cost $$$.
There are also Christian singles cruises available (look for ads in your local Christian newspaper) but personally, I don't want to spend money just to spend time puking over the boat deck...LOL.
