I would go to the doctor's. 2 months is a long time to have something painful and not know what it is.

there is a possibility it is a planters wart. i got one on the bottom of my foot before when i pulled out a splinter. the skin never close up and became infected so i had to go to the foot doctor and they had to remove it. there were these really little black specks in it indicating the type of wart it was...kind of like pepper... it was very sore and hard to walk on. injuries on feet is hard to treat and heel because you're constantly using them. so i would suggest going to the foot doctor if you can't get rid of it. also if its swollen and inflammed those are other signs. the pain can be very uncomfortable to deal with. hope you feel better!

could be a planters wart or you may have infected your foot when you poked it. if it's red and swollen see a doc. if it's a planters wart, you can buy otc stuff that is supossed to freeze them off but i don't know how well they work. best bet is to have it removed by a doc.
