It doesn't make sense to me that if powerful enough to create us in any way he chooses, knowledgeable enough to know everything in the future, and good enough to want what is best for the world, that he would basically leave us to fend for ourselves, and create us in such a way that we would **** up this world the way we have.

Most of you are missing the point, and probably not even reading the details. If God knows everything, then he knew that we would be this way when he created us. That makes it HIS fault, not ours.

what i think of this is that god put us on earth full of sin so that we can fully understand what god is saving us from and what he can save us from when we reach heaven. It is like looking at some one with a disease, you dont understand what they go through until you have it.

Did God save Us?
It does make sense to me that if powerful enough to create us in any way he chooses, knowledgeable enough to know everything in the future, and good enough to want what is best for the world, that he would basically take care of all of our needs, and create us in such a way that we would bless this world the way we have.

When Eve disobeyed God in the garden, thats where it all started. God was sorry that He ever made man, but then He gave us freewill to do as we please, to make our own decisions, but He wants us to make the right ones. Of course the world has gone away from God and decided to whatever makes them happy. The Bible says that there wont be many that enter the kingdom of God. And all the rich people in the world who would rather have their money and fine things, will have a hard time getting to Heaven. I think God is getting tired of all this crap going on down here and He'll be coming soon to get His children that DO believe in Him.
This verse sums it up I think!
2Ch 7:14 If my people, which are called, by my name, shall humble themselves, and pray, and seek my face, and turn from their wicked ways; then will I hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin, and WILL HEAL THEIR LAND.
Luke 18:25 For it is easier for a camel to go through a needle's eye, than for a rich man to enter into the kingdom of God.

Who has abandoned who? Assuming we were given a perfect world to live on and inhabit, then there are two things to remember. First, once perfect, always perfect. We cannot make the world imperfect. Secondly, aren't most of the tragedies we see in the world man-made?

God is long suffering, and every day we continue to be apostate from His word, I am that much more fearful of the chastisement He will give to His people for allowing it.

Israel spent 400 years in Egypt and we have only seen 200 years or so of falling away from God's word.

Jesus promised His disciples that after He returned to His Father then He will send a councilor that will lead us in all truth. That is the Holy Spirit. If you gave your heart to Jesus and have then been baptized. Pray and ask God to baptize you with the Holy Spirit. You will never be alone again. God Bless

The world is all ****** up because some of the people who claim to be religious are using it to get what they want. Osama claims Allah to kill Americans, who armed him out of fear of communism. Bush claims God to attack the Middle East and get oil.

The Inquisition. The Pope. The holy crusades. Jihad. These all come from cruel people using religion to get what they want.

If God is real, God ditched us as soon as he realized that half of his believers are half-crazy murderers. Who knows? Maybe he'll be there to scoop us up, eh? Well, not me; he'll throw me in hell.

God did not abandon us, Some of us abandoned God! God gave us brains to think for ourselves and it isn't His fault that we decided to mess things up

God helps those who help themselves. It isn't God who has made the world the way it is. It is our wrongdoings. Blaming God for every bad thing is not the answer.
