any time you use any kind of thermal styling tool, you need to be using some kind of thermal styling product. heat does the most damage in your hair. i use a glossing polish by procclaim. i get it at sallys bueaty supply, and it inexpensive. not only will this protect your hair from the heat and help the frizzies, it will add shine to your hair withouth the drying your hair out because it contains aloe, not alcohol, like mousse or styling products. you can even try this if you want to leave your hair curly, put the glossing polish on your hair while wet, and it wont frizz.

I use frizzease (I think that's how you spell it) and Sunsilk de frizz. If you are blessed with hair not like mine, it's good to wait till your hair is dry before you the frizz ease on. That takes only a little and you can also control where it goes on where your hair is most frizzy. I also, for more special occasions, use Matrix Curl Life. JCPenney sometimes has deals where you can buy the packs of them for a good price. The cream texture is also a good product by them.

Straightening curly hair in the summer is pretty much a waste of time. Its impossible to keep it looking good, so you have to try to work with your natural texture. When you get out of the shower, towel dry your hair, then apply a leave in conditioner. Then take your favorite hair gel (I like herbal essences) and scrunch it through your hair. You can let it air dry, or blow dry on low with a diffuser.

Okay. I have wavy hair too.
I finally have it. Put your hair in a neat, low ponytail and put a nice thick headband on it. Or, do a braid instead of a ponytail. If a plastic headband hurts, try one that has the elastic under it and goes all the way around your head. If you simply like your hair to an elegant look, try doing a neat braid (make sure that your scalp is nicely brushed back (some l'oreal gel works or some hairspray) and in the back of your head, twirl the braid into a bun. Take some bobby pins and pin it in place.

Well you need some anti-friz serum. My fav. anti friz serums are Sunsilk 24/7 Cream, and John Frieda Anti Frizz Serum.
As for your naturally curly hair, try washing it with a shampoo and conditioner that helps form your natural curls, like Herbal Essence, or Pantene's Lines for Curls.

You can do 1 of 2 things. Purchase haircare products with frizz control ingredients or make an appointment with a beautician.

There are a lot of things you can do with it. You can braid it, put it in a bun, pigtails, low side pony. There are also great products out there that enhance your curls or try to find products that ease the frizz. Also check out these websites

I use Catwalk's Curls Rock and use a diffuser to dry my hair. It helps with the frizzies. I also use a moisturizing shampoo. My favorite is Catwalk's Fashionista. To really get the frizzies in control you can try curling your hair with an curling iron in small sections (try to go with how your hair curls - take a curl and wrap it around the barrell of the iron). It is time consuming but worth it for special occasions.

I love curly hair! Try curl-enhancing shampoos and/or creams. Also, if you want to straighten, they have anti-frizz serums that may help your problem.
