Contact your vet and other local vets.

VISIT the shelters near you - don't rely on an overworked staff to be able to get back to you or to be able to properly identify your dog.

Contact the police in case animal control picks him up.

OH, I have a tri-color basset too. And if he ran away, someone would pick him up right away, they are soo adorable. But the thing with him is when he's scared, he just runs in the opposite direction of whatever is scaring him. Put in the local newspaper under lost and found. People really read that part and maybe put reward? It's been quite a while that she's been gone but my Basset loves to eat ANYTHING including bark so she could still be alive! Good luck and try putting out flyers and calling the Humane Society every day.

I know how it feels when your pet goes missing.
I know that you have pictures on my space page but have you also put up pictures of her at post offices, libraries, convenience stores and the like. Some stores will let you put up posters on a bulletin board.
I hope the family can find their pet. There are two other possibilities to consider. They are not what you want to hear but you need to face up to the possibility. The other two possibilities are: she's dead or someone has picked her up.
I hope the two last ones are not what happened. Its only a remote possibility.

Oh, tell your friend I am so sorry. My cat ran away in May, but my neighbor- who owns a nursery) said that he has seen her running around. I'm sure the dog is not far. Try putting up posters and keep looking. I know how they feel!! Good luck with the dog. I hope they find her!

The buddies had to call each and every time Ice have been given out of her kennel and that they could carry her living house. They did threaten to shoot her if she saved killing their chickens. Ice is quite friendly different than to chickens. Our chum ended up making a cement pad, planting the kennel into the cement. That saved Ice in for a on an identical time as. until eventually..... she discovered to climb. He could have named her Houdini. Then he ended up putting a roof on the kennel. So now Ice and the chickens are all secure back. that's quite unhappy what got here approximately to those 2 Huskies. i do no longer know the guidelines there with regards to circumstances like the single you observed. in spite of the reality that I do have faith all and sundry has the splendid to guard their farm animals. i could somewhat he observed as the government first, warned the buddies of the area first so they could have a minimum of had the possibility to retrieve their canines and pay the damages. they'll could learn with the government on the guidelines of their section. back, i'm sorry for the loss of their pets.
