I finalized it, popped it in my computer, and wanted to save the video to my computer so I could edit it in Windows Movie Maker. Only thing is it shows the disc menu and plays. What kind of program/drive do I need to get video off of it and saved on to my computer so that I can edit it?

If your computer can play it, then you should be able to copy it to your computer (as long as it isn't copy protected - which it shouldn't be if you recorded it).

When you insert the disc, it sounds like the "autoplay" is opening the player and starting playback - close that window. Then open an explorer window ("My Computer") and find the optical drive where your disc is - RIGHT click and click EXPLORE. Now you should be able to see the contents of the disc and copy them.

Put the dvd in your dvd drive. Go to 'my computer', right click the dvd drive. You will get copy option. I think you can do the rest. - This is the easiest way to do it. You can use any vedio editing software for this also. You will get many software from the internet. Just give a search in the yahoo or google for it.
