Do Atheists or Agnostics believe they are sinners or good/nice people because they do good deeds?

God has said," No man is good", but he himself in heaven.
Let me prove it to you. Let us use the10 commandments.
Have you ever told a lie? Most Atheists have.
Have ever hated anybody. Most of you have, God calls that murder. Have you ever lusted after the same or opposite sex? God calls that adultry. Have you ever said God's name in vain. Most of you do and yet you do not believe in him.
According to your own omission most of you are liars,
murders in the sight of God,adulterous and blasphemers.
One day you will die and IF, I said IF there is a God, would you be innocent or guilty before God. Would you go to heaven or hell. God says unbelievers go to Hell.
Did you know what God did for you so you would not go to hell.
He Jesus died for your sins. You see, you broke God's law Jesus paid your punishment on the cross. If you repent of your sins and believe Jesus, you will be forgiven and be granted everlasting life. Don't believe this, Hell still real you're still going. Rev. 21:8

Also: You're invoking pascal's wager:

This is, of course, false.

Some of the problems with the argument:

* The implied assumption that god may exist (with a 50% probability, no less!)

* The assumption that there is an afterlife with a heaven and hell

* The assumption that the god cares about belief in him/her above all else

* The assumption that if you believe in a god, it will definitely be the same god that actually exists.

* The assumption that you lose nothing if it's false. You have lost a great deal, from time praying to a nonexistent entity (some people pray several hours a day!!!) to morality (your god may ask you to hurt other people) and much more besides.

* The assumption that people can believe in something simply because it benefits them. Would you believe goblins exist for twenty bucks? Why not?

* The assumption that any god won't see through the "believing just to get into heaven" ploy.

Yes, I do believe I am a good person. I believe in the innate goodness of humanity. It's a shame you don't

"Have you ever told a lie?" Yes, so what? Everyone has. Most of the cases where I have lied it was to protect someone else.

"Have ever hated anybody. Most of you have, God calls that murder. " Well then how come the people I hate ain't dead, I mean if its supposed to be murder? Seriously, you do not know my reasons for hating the people I do. You are very judgmental.

Well I am a blasphemer and I am loving every minute of it. But I have never murdered anyone and I have never cheated on anyone.

I'm going to hell? Wow.......it strikes me that you are prideful, hateful, judgmental, without compassion, lacking understanding and yet you believe that you are going to heaven? You've probably broken a 10 commandment or two in your life so I'm sure you're in the same boat with me. I will probably pass into another life until I can offer my life to end the suffering of others by ending my own suffering. You don't seem to be trying to eliminate suffering but you're happy to cause more by what you wrote. Would Jesus be proud of you? Read your bible and then get back to me on what Jesus actually taught.

First of all, your proof consists of the imaginary 10 commandments. Anything you said after it was a collection of moral standards in every religion and society. ANYONE can be a good person regardless of their beliefs. I know this may frighten you that your book is just a book. It is literary entertainment. Don't take it so literally. It is called altruism or caring for others. It is a respect that anyone is capable of. You don't need the fear of going to hell to be a good person.

Teaching based on rewards works much better than based on punishment. Ask any parent.
Ever occured to you just to be nice to other people apart from just refraining from doing bad things to anybody else? Try it. Wake up in the morning with a smile.

Everyone has lied. Everyone hates someone (look at you, hating us atheists). Everyone can't control how their body naturally reacts to attraction.

So, by your standards, God's gonna off a lot of Christians, too.

I've lived a decent life. I hate some people, and I've lied before. I have yet to find anyone attractive. So, my life, which has involved no stealing, shooting, pillaging, raping, slaughtering, adultery, or anything of that sort...would be judged as evil?

Look, I don't believe in God for many reasons, but one of them is because he made us to do certain things that he apparently despises. He gave us freewill, but he wants us to obey or else suffer damnation.

If God loved me so much that he would kill his son for me (disturbing, by the way; I'd never show my love for people by killing my child!), then why would he throw me in hell to be tortured equally to Hitler?

Besides, I don't believe Jesus ever claimed to die for anybody's sin. Paul wrote that. Millions of people have written books. Because something's in a book doesn't make it so.

You didn't PROVE anything!
You recieted what you have been told your whole life, and then used the 10 commandments as your proof. And obviously by that criteria we are all sinners whether we are good people or not.
