My mp3 player, like most nowadays does not have an a/c charger cable. So, I was reading a magazine and it talked of a kit you could buy online that you could build your own charger. I did not want to get the kit, so i bought the parts (they were listed) I am still not quite sure how to do this, can you help me??

As far as I know - there are only 3 types of power / chargers - 1. Built in battery with a cradle / cable for charging 2. Built in battery with USB connection for charging and 3. Batteries only.

You must have a player of type 2 or 3. For the built in battery and USB charger, use one of these:

If you have a player that uses batteries, just buy one of the Energizer NiMH chargers with batteries - they are cheap and the batteries last forever and can be charged hundreds of times.

I would seriously see about getting directions from the magazine or from the kit manufacturer. I would not be playing around with things that you plug into the wall.
