OMG!!!! My hamster is a chinese language dwarf hamster and she or he's gray with a mild stripe down her decrease back. The humorous element is her call is Cutie!!! i think of Cutie is a appropriate call for all hamsters or maybe nevertheless he's a boy and mine is a female, Cutie for a popularity suits the two genders. good success!!!!!!

You really can only name your hamster after you have had it for a few days. After getting your hamster, check on it every now and then for the first few days. see what his favorite food is, what action he makes the most, what he does the most during the day. That way it's name might come out as: Tomato, Wheels, or Sleepy. Of course that is only my advice. Have fun with your new hamster!

By the way, I would recommend asking if you can go somewhere else to get your new hamster.
I got a hamster from there once and she didn't live long, afterwards quite a few people have told my mum (who works in a pet shop) that any animal they get from there has never lived very long (some die within a week, so I was lucky to have my hamster for a year).

Just a word of warning....... every small furry animal that I have bought from Pets At Home has died within a couple of weeks.
Its not what I'm doing to them before you say it! I look after my animals very well!
I recently bought 2 gerbils. One died a very traumatic death within a week and the other I had to rush to the emergency vets (costing over £40) but died later that day anyway. I did get reimbursed by Pets At Home but its not a good advertisment!

im getting a hamster too, you can look off google but you did come to he right place for asking. Well here are my ideas of a girl name: Pheobe, Mocha, Penelopy, Peaches, Angelica, Angel, and Precious. Boy names: Tommy, Tom, Joey, Freddy, Mike, Chester, Nutster. And here are boy/girl names: Crumbles, Nibbles,Nibbler, you know, stuff like that. hope you like my idea's. and i'll hope you'll find a name for your hamster.
