Vehicle has V6 engine & 4-speed auto tranny. Switch located on center console behind shifter.

It raises the rpm limiter. You'll notice the car "revs harder" with the switch activated. Better gas mileage when not in use.

It is not "Electronic Traction Control". A 1990 4 runner doesn't even have ABS on the front wheels.

electronic traction control. it helps to give you anti-slip capabilties for bad weather.
