I really like your analogy of our heart like a home... (or garden even). Have you ever read, "My heart, Christ's Home" by Robert Boyd Munger?

It means that one is seeded by the SPIRIT (HOLY SPIRIT) as a guarantee of Kingship and salvation to the kingdom of heaven and the kingdom of GOD. Thus, even the natural men are planted in their hearts the plan of GOD for them called eternal life in the world called Omega. What you are describing is a human attempt to make the reality of the Kingdom of God understood. I prefer to listen to the actual teaching of the Apostles and Christ.
