Pig food is meant for pigs. It was not designed with a dog's nutritional needs in mind. A dog fed on pig food will not get the proper nutrition. Which can lead to a shorter, less healthy life.
Also, there are so many different brands of dog food, some are better than others. Some aren’t even good for dogs at all (usually the cheaper ones, which are mostly corn-based).

My friend mix dog food and pig pellets together to make them bulky. And it also helps save on dog food as well.

Ive fed my dogs with pig pellets (makes them bulky) along with their vitamins and my dogs are really healthy. Contacted my vet and she says it wont harm them due to the fact that dogs and pigs have a similar buildup.
