What you will need:
Grill Bag (Reynold's Grilling Bag- it's like really thick alum. foil)
Steak, Chicken, Pork or combo of them
2 ears of corn
1 to 2 small onions
5 potatoes (small in size) either red skinned, or golden yellow
Lemon Pepper Seasoning
Garlic POWDER (not salt)
1 to 1-1/2 sticks Margarine or Butter

Cut Strips of Steak, and maybe Boneless Skinless Chicken (if she likes chicken) or pork (not tried it with lamb though)

Cut up in quarters (not small) a few small potatoes (can be red skinned, or the golden yellow works well too)

Get Corn on the Cob (pull off husks, silks and clean) and cut each ear in half

Slice one or two small to medium onions (depending on if you like to eat the onions, or just want more of a flavoring)

Cut up the stick marg. or butter into smaller cubes

Mix all ingredients together and make sure seasoning is coated well throughout all veggies and meat.

Put ingred. in grilling bag, and cook for about 35 to 45 minutes until all meat is throughly cooked and potatoes are done.

Enjoy!!

I believe this would be a perfect camping meal, and since you've thought enough about cooking for her for your anniversary, this will be even more special :) Gotta like a man that plans ahead!

This is also simple enough (and very very little cleanup might I add) that anyone can handle, but, she will see you preparing all of this and it will mean a great deal to her I'm sure!!! And, even better, you aren't trying to cook something out of a box!

Oh, don't forget to take oven mits to flip the bag over, and also a slotted serving spoon, so you don't get all the grease in your plate...

Then, if you really wanted to go all out, buy some things for smores for dessert to top off the camping experience.....Hersey Bars, Marshmallows, Graham Crackers. Put choc. on Graham Crackers, Roast Marshmallow over fire, and sandwich it with the choc. & graham cracker and another graham cracker....mash down.....mmmmmmmmmm, who doesn't LOVE Smores!!!

Good Job Hubby!

Marinate some pork chops in a ziplock with some olive oil, sesame oil, hot sesame oil, garlic, ginger, and green onions and plop that in your cooler on ice. It's really good, like a Chinese BBQ pork almost! Heh. Or you could do kebabs with steak and veggies to pack. And then make up those foil packets of sliced potatoes for grilling. And since you're doing all that (so sweet), go to the deli and get a couple pints of salad to add to the cooler. Toss in a bottle of champagne or an extra cooler for beer and beverages and you're set!

Oh, and of course don't forget all the silverware and plates and blanket/tablecloth, candles, paper towels, all the good stuff. Happy anniversary!
