where i live in the mountains yeaterday at around 2:30pm, a huge wildfire started in the forest! it spread very quickly. the fire went into neighborhoods and was out of control. it has burned nearly 100 acres or so. more than 250 houses, properties and possessions have been destroyed. firefighters have been making their best efforts to stop it, but the fire is still out of control!! the dry vegetation and wind further ignite the fire. there is thick, hazardous smoke everywhere and even the ashes are falling from the sky.many victims are suffering as they see their houses being burned to ashes in front of their faces. the smoke causes respiratory problems. i fear my house may be next to go down.the fire may cause some deaths. it is believed that the fire was caused by humans and didnt start naurally. im out of hope and im devastated. the fire is still out of control and it is destroying more homes. will you pray for us? i believe that with your faith you may help. please!!

ill have you in my prayers. id like to write a prayer now. Lord Jesus i ask you for your protection on them that are dealing with the fire. Lord i ask you to give them the faith knowing that you will be right there helping them, to give them the strength to overcome it. to remember whatever might take place that you will turn it around and and make good. i want to thank you in advance Lord because i know youve heard our prayer. in Jesus name Amen you dont have to be religious to have faith. you just have to know that he will do what he says he'll do.

Hey my first yahoo answers pal! I am surprised and sorry to hear of the problems in your home community just now. I am not religious either but I can certainly send a prayer across the sea from the UK. I will be praying for you tonight as I go to my safe bed with no real concerns of my own. Your meaningful words and concern at this time on the tragedy unfolding in your home town as I am typing this put everything else into perspective. A wee saying we have here - my fingers are crossed all turns out well for you.

My sweet sister,
Have my sympathy and my good wishes. It is my prayer that you have enough strength to withstand the loss. The important thing is that once you are still alive and kicking you can make good the loss.
Perhaps, you can insure your house against future occurences but the naked truth is that the five basic elements of fire, water, earth, air and ether are now at war with man because we have abused them.. Not only that but with time they have become totally decayed and impure to the extent that the least opportunity they get they choose to vent their anger on us. .But there is a way out. You can on your own, help to purify the elements through constant meditation. The more you do this the more you insure yourself against the attack of the elements. Once you become a friend they can never harm you. Constant meditation is the key and it is the one and only powerful prayer you can think of .See yourself as a soul (not a body) and connect your intellect yoga with God the Supreme soul.As you do this you help to purify the five elements. This is the only insurance cover you can get in this time of need. The truth is that as you link up with God you derive enough energy and power to become pure yourself and by so doing you help to purify the atmoshere and the five elements. Once again have my good wishes and stay happy.Do not weep and wail over the past . Forget the past and make use of the present because it is the present which determines the future.Perhaps, you can see yourself as a small star and try to fuse or merge this with the Bigger Star (God).Try it .Cheers.

Oh NO, I am SO sorry! Certainly I will send out a prayer: for where you live, for the unfortunate people who have suffered and that NO ONE will die, and that you and your loved ones will come through this alive and grateful. I don't go to church, but I do believe in God. Take good care.

That "geared up-in" feeling of God, is a reason all of us comprehend God exists in the 1st place. Atheists deny this sense and experience they comprehend greater helpful. A atheist who prays isn't an athiest. learn God somewhat greater and you may locate out he's not what you think of he's in any respect. various people have not executed any learn and purely think of they comprehend what the Bible says approximately God. circulate forward and study the finished Bible first, then confirm.

Some wise person was once asked whether things that happen are the result of prayer or whether it is just co-incidence.
That wise man replied, "It may be co-incidence. But I have noticed that when I stop praying the co-incidences stop happening."
Loads of us are praying for you - but please don't forget that when things 'co-incidentally' turn out well for you.
Maybe a quick "Thanks, God" will be in order when that happens?
All the best with the fire.

I feel so sorry for all you that is going through that. But if you are not religous and not going to pray for yourselves, how do you think our prayers are going to help you. I will sure keep you in my prayers but now is a good time for you to be relying on God too. I think you will find he can help you in a lot in life. Best of luck.

So why haven't I heard about it this in the media? And how come, in all this mayhem your Internet connection is still up and running?
What exactly do you want? Sounds to me as though you're not as far from religion as you make out to be.
