there are different kinds of crazy. levels, if you will. I am mentally ill. yes I am crazy. for me it comes and goes. when I'm having a bad day as I call it, I am aware of it, but being aware doesn't change my thoughts or calm me down. I get paranoid and every far fetched, dremt up, unrealistic idea I get at the time I don't KOW if I should beieve my thoughts or not... I usually just call up my bet friend and tell them my frears and delusions and he tells me what to believe untill I calm down. it's hard, I don't know what I'd do without him there to keep me grounded in reality.

I think everyone is crazy to a certain extent. There's different levels of craziness. I don't think I'm crazy but I know not all of my screws are bolted tight. But believe you me I've known some people that really arent right in the head, in my time...

Depends on the type of crazy we're talking about. Some people that "know" they're "crazy" aren't really crazy at all.....and some are just NUTS!

Anthony Hopkins said that in "Proof."
First of all, "crazy" is not a diagnosis. But many schizophrenics, for example, are not aware of their disease or that anything is wrong. People with bipolar disorder, on the other hand, often seek help early. Like someone said, it depends on the kind of crazy :)

You can be crazy and self aware at the same time. Its just like any other behavior related disease. SOme alcoholics and drug addicts know. A lot of things come in to play.
Denial, how you feel about mental illness and if you are comfotable enough to say, "hey, I'm a lil slow".

Well, there is crazy and there is crazy. It really depends on the type of crazy you are suffering from.

not neccesarily...many people have been diagnosed as such,..but do not accept it...they think the rest of us are crazy...usually, if you really are crazy, you will never see it, or accept it.
