I heard my husband preach on The Antichrist. It was a very good sermon. He brought out things that opened my eyes. He preached about the Mark of the Beast, and what the beast looked like. After church, when I was at home the same thing that he had preached on was on the History channel. That was so cool. I also sang two songs, He'll Do It Again and Days of Elijah. I also helped sing in the choir to.

...I heard a wonderful testimony of a man who was born 63 years ago, was very sick at 6 months, he recovered but he suffered with a speech impediment, he had buck teeth, and polio. He grew up with no father at home. All through school he had to walk on crutches, and others made fun of his teeth.
...He joined the Army, was befriended by a General, who worked with him and his speech every day, and he encouraged him.
...He retired from the Army and now has a civilian job.
...He came to our church and Mr. Tolson became like a father to him. He stayed with Mr. Tolson for 5 years, until Mr. Tolson was called home to be with the Lord.
...By God's grace he has done very well, for a boy that supposed to amount to nothing.

1) That we are all accountable for our tongue. The spoken and unspoken word is how we are the living epistles of God's word.

2) That we are accountable for both our words and those that hear them.

3) The tongue is a cutting tool. It can cause damage as a sword, or it can chisel out the picture of Christ in our lives.

I heard about... more of a question. What do you need to believe in God? An encounter with God or just scripture? A miracle, a message or nothing except the words of the Bible?

The sermon was about how we should all be convicted of our sins and not rationalize them away!
