Seat belts are warrantied for the life of the truck. Bring it in and let Nissan replace the belt. Air bag light flashing? If the pretensioner has not gone off it will be free. Lucky day!
On the other hand twisted belts soaked in body oils and sweat so the seat belt won't go over the "D" ring on the B post is not covered. Have you tried cleaning the seat belt web and pulling it out slowly to see if it is twisted? once cleaned with fabric cleaner and rinsed with a sponge and water pulled out to dry and the d ring cleaned with alcohol and Q- tips. I use silicone spray to lube up the web so it retracts easily.
