As it could be many things, and I can't actually see her, she should go to a vet. My guess is she has an abscessed tooth.

Oh my gosh. I saw this on animal rescuers on animal planet. It happens especially on larger breeds. Your dog may have been born with in-grown lashes. It happens when your dog is born with it's eyelashes in reverse. It causes irritation, swelling, and itching. You should take it to the veterinarian immediatly, but I dont think it's fatal. It's actually genetic. You should see the vet soon as possible, though there could be surgery.
On the other hand, it could be a bite. ALL spiders bite. or it could be a mosquito bite. They can grow and they leave lumps. You should take it to a vet either way, it may be infected.

Sad to say it is possible that it could be a tumour. A lady I know had the same thing happen to her dog. He had to get it removed and then was okay. It could also be an infection but then you would probably see a scratch or something like that. Like anything it's better to take care of it early on. I know vets are expensive but if you can, take her in. That's the only way you will know for sure. I hope all goes well!!!!!
Edit
I saw your pictures. She is so sweet! It could be a tooth causing problems. Whatever it is get her to a vet ASAP!! Poor girl!

Looks just like when my boxer had an infected tooth. This would explain the rapid growth. A tumor would most likely grow slower unless it was especially aggressive type. If so she would probably be dead by now. My boxer needed denatl surgery to remove the molar tooth. Very painful for her but once healed no further problems. Dogs should have their teeth checked annually and cleaned as often as necessary.

You should take the dog to a vet. It could be a simple thing or it could be something more dangerous. If it is, you shouldn't wait to long or you may loose the dog altogether. She could have a sinus blockage, a bug or snake bite, or cancer. get it checked out. You'll be happy you did.

My best guess would be a tumor. It's growing and growing right? Your dog NEEDS THE VET! Get her there now and it might be able to be surgically removed!

spider bite, wasp or bee sting. If it starts oozing, you need to get her to a vet. Since it is so close to her eye, you don't want to take chances.
