Love is not restricted to those who have a definite religion. All people can love- it's a natural human emotion. Those who do not love seriously (not the ones who claim to hate everyone for attention) are often mentally ill.

Some forms of love, yes, Atheist believe in.
From the Greek origins:
Phileo (brotherly, conditional) yes.
Eros (physical, erotic) yes.
Agape' (Godly, unconditional) no.

Yes, it is felt when the brain releases neurotransmitters called oxytosin, dopamine and serotonin..These feelings of love are meaningless if you don't turn the word into a verb.

Presumably, your heart goes "ba-dump, ba-dump" like everyone else's - which has nothing to do with love, and electrochemical response and eventually a neural pathway in your brain.
