Yes. I live in North Carolina and have a friend that gets all her beauty stuff done at a beauty school. they can do everything from haircuts, to perms, to hair color. They are practicing, of course, but they don't let them do anything until they've had enough training to know what they are doing.
I have heard of the dental deal also, but am not personally familar with it.

Yes that's true. When you go to a school the work will be done cheaper because you'll have students working on you. They'll be under close supervision of an instructor, but they're still students.

Sometimes they have students who are just learning and they kind of use you to practice on, for cheap, check with the school and see if you can get an appointment, Beauth Schools do hair jobs too.
