Jesus said, "Congratulations to those who are alone and chosen, for you will find the kingdom. For you have come from it, and you will return there again."

What does this statement mean to you?

It take it to mean that those who find their gnostic faith on their own through introspection are the ones that were with God in the beginning and will return to him. Not the people who congregate in church and come to a group decision about God and what his word means.

This scripture was taken from the Gospel of Thomas. Verse 49.

Congratulations to those who are alone and chosen, for you will find the kingdom. For you have come from it, and you will return there again [49]

Alone derives from 'All' and 'One'. The implication in spiritual terms is a person who is not divided, and therefore whole, holy. A holy person has been chosen by God, and is not self-made.

Jesus is saying that the holy ones chosen by God will find the kingdom. The Kingdom is at hand, and the next two sayings help to show further the value of being 'Alone':

The end will be where the beginning is [18].
Know how to examine the present moment [91].

Being whole, holy, because one is undivided, one is singularly aware of the present moment, wherein the Kingdom is at hand.

For those who are interested the sayings are from the Gospel of Thomas.

Well, I for one have never seen this scripture...could you quote chapter and verse? The Gospel of Thomas is not the word of God. Read the true word of God and seek his truth.
