In order to be a Christian, you MUST be baptized by immersion in water.
“He that believeth and is baptized shall be saved; but he that believeth not shall be damned” (Mark 16:16)
“Repent and be baptized every one of you in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of sins, and ye shall receive the gift of the Holy Ghost” (Acts 2:38)
"The like figure whereunto even baptism doth also now save us (not the putting away of the filth of the flesh, but the answer of a good conscience toward God,) by the resurrection of Jesus Christ:" 1 Peter 3:21
You are not saved before baptism, nor is sprinkling or pouring baptism scriptural.

I'm an atheist, but I was baptized in my late 20's as a condition to being the godfather to my niece -- it was a big deal to my 1st wife; and I figured, "No big deal, it's just a little water," so I went through with it.

Jesus told us where the true holy place was in Daniel 8 and 12.
Are sins a washed away by troubled waters, of snow waters, the rivers that cleanse and heal our spirit as it cleanses the land, (make abomination of desolation). The cripple man at the pool of Shalom (Peace) said when the angel troubled the waters it has healing powers. but there was no one to put him in the waters.
We are to be Baptized in rivers of troubled snow waters, not by sprinkling of water, or by being submersed in standing water, it must be flowing, troubled snow water.
The age of 30 is appropriate for Baptism, for Jesus said when you were young you dressed your self and went where you wanted to go, but now you go you go where you are sent.
When you believe, your spirit want to be fed, the more your spirit is fed the stronger it gets, and the eyes and ears of your body now hears that which the spirit hears, and the body wants to become one with it's spirit, and God the Father, and with it's brothers and sisters in Christ.

Paul states in Romans 6:a million-6 that whilst you at the instant are not resurrected out of the water of baptism for the removing of your sins, you isn't resurrected in the hereafter. you may restudy baptism as you're misinformed on 2 factors: a million) Baptism is for the removing of sins--there's no thank you to heaven without it. So says Christ and each and all the apostles. Even Paul (Saul) became into praying for 3 days--if praying could do it, Paul could be saved, yet he became into advised to 'upward thrust up and wash away your sins' (Acts 22:sixteen). 2) Baptism of the Holy Spirit became into to the apostles which gave them particular skills to tutor the awareness, not the different component. Tongues have been defined in Acts 2 as everyday earthly languages, not godly gibberish. All miracles have been to tutor the guy became into from God and not something greater.
