Who said evolution is true? It is just a theory, interesting, but not proved. Still your question is interesting! I have asked myself and others similar questions about it, but I don't much anymore because I just don't believe in evolution. The mathematical probability of this the complexity of a single cell, let alone the whole universe, occurring by random chance just doesn't make any sense to me.

You post a vague, nonsensical question that shows your ignorance on the subject, and then pat yourself on the back under the delusion that you've "stumped" everybody? Then call the ANSWERS "waffling"?
I can only guess that you have the gross yet popular misconception that evolution proposes a "superiority" chain of organisms. This simply isn't true. Polar bears wouldn't survive if placed in Arizona, and tarantulas wouldn't survive in Greenland. Read up on evolution from actual science sources (that is, if you actually want to learn, and aren't just some attention-starved internet troll).

Different environments. Life in cold snowy climates has very different needs than life in tropical climates. Individuals who were best adapted for survival passed their genes to the next generation, and so on.
Evolution effects an entire species, but occurs on an individual level. If an individual has a mutation that allows it to fly farther in search of food, for instance, its offspring will get the genes, and they'll be able to fly farther, as well. Because they have a larger range, they will be more likely to survive to pass the gene to the next generation.
If some of the far-flying birds don't return, and instead stay in an area that is different from where they came from, the process will continue, but with different environmental pressures, thus different adaptations will occur.
Over millions of years, some birds become flightless, some live on or in water. It's really fascinating stuff.
(Edit)
When a group changes due to living in an environment very different from the one their ancestors came from, they can change so much over time that they are no longer able to reproduce with the ancestors of the old group. Thus, they're no longer the same species.

The BASIC jist of it is: because as life began to evolve, organisms branched off. Each branch evolved slightly differently than each other. Over millions of years, those differences became more and more significant, until they were able to be given their own individual classifications.
If you want more detailed information, you'll need to go look it up yourself. I can't type all the details out in a forum like this. I did my research, now you can do yours.
And nobody's waffling. You just don't like the answers. You're not really interested in the answer to this, anyway. If you were, you wouldn't be trolling in the RELIGION section of Y/A with questions like this. You'd be looking it up in legitimate science books or on legitimate science websites. (And simply because we can't provide you with 100% of the minute details you're challanging us to on Y/A, doesn't mean that the theory of evolution is false. And it certainly doesn't mean that Goddidit.)

Evolution deals with the transformation of life forms. It did not create life. It is a very widely accepted theory (including by me) that explains how life forms changed over time.
Species is a word we coined to classify differences among different life forms. If it were not species, it would be some other word. Differentiating among all these life forms makes it easier for us humans to study each of them separately and understand them better.
The different species developed due to the environment. Some moved towards land, some stayed in water, some moved towards forests, some towards deserts. Those that had the skills to adapt to these changes survived and passed on the skills to their offsprings. The others perished. And these skills mutated over thousands of years to become a new species.

now evolution makes things, it can think? Holy crap!! Just like the heart!!
Do you even know what eveolution means?
Evolution, what it MEANS!! Is that there is a common ancestor between more than one species. small-scale evolution (changes in gene frequency in a population from one generation to the next) and large-scale evolution (the descent of different species from a common ancestor over many generations). Evolution wouldn't BE EVOLUTION WITH ONLY ONE SPECIES!!
Maybe people should start asking their evolution questions in the Biology section... just a thought.

because that's not what evolution does or how it works
evolution is to do with the beneficial effects of random mutations over a long period of time
A cat is not going to mutate into a dog and if they did it would prove evolution wrong
I assume from your additional information comment you don't actually have any genuine interest in evolution but on the off chance I'm wrong I'd recommend you ask your question the biology section.
I'll also be interested to see if you vote for a best answer and if you vote for someone going "lol see they can't answer".

Why would you expect it to? Do you not understand evolution or something? You would expect it to produce many, many species specialised to environmental niches, and this is precisely what it does. The way it does it with such fine grained precision in places like Australia (which has more micro environmentally specialised species than any other place) on its own proves evolution beyond any doubt whatsoever.

Pick an answer:
A) It did, but then pig's started to fly all over the place, and Santa Clause could'nt keep them under control. What a mess ?
And now it all makes sense.
or....
B) It has nothing to do with evolution, but everything is a result of Creation. Read Genesis in our Word from God, and you will find answers worth everything.
Read it for your self, test the words, do not take man's words for it.

The fact that there are so many different species is more proof of evolution, actually. Evolution fills niches, doesn't it? How can niches be filled by just one species? If just one species had developed, it would have died off pretty quickly, without other species to fill needs.
