Notice the trend that all sin usually comes at the cost of somebody? Stealing takes away from somebody else. Adultury takes away from another person. Lying misleads another person. Murder... well... ain't that obvious enough? I believe sin is behavior that hurts people, all behavior that doesn't do unto others as we would have done to ourselves. Sin is selfish behavior.
So, while it may be fun to hurt other people for your own gain... it is not fun to be hurt by other people. Sin is usually painful to somebody... it just might not always effect you directly.

The evil one wouldn't care much for that...especially since we're in his realm. Ever wonder why the best things in life come so hard? Salvation cannot be easily obtained, and some of the things that need to be done to get there arent always fun. Perhaps that's why the evil one makes sin so much fun....much easier to fall into his grasp that way. You see, he doesn't like to work to hard for anyone...that is why when you are saved, he and his minions cannot harm you.
Think of it this way: The more sinning you do now....the harder the road to salvation will be for you.

Do you assume that G-d or something designs acts to have certain emotional effects?
While some sin seems to evoke feelings of pleasure, other sins seem to awaken in those who commit them, feelings of guilt, shame, or fear. The consequences of sin are not so simple or one-dimensional.

the meaning of SIN is........when a person knows right and don't do it, then that person just committed sin in their heart..
let very person search his or her own heart.........the BIBLE say that be sure of one thing....your SINS will find you out..
what's done in darkness will come to light....and what's done in secret will be made known.....
and as far as the church making up a fairly tale about HELL..
you can only hope it's a fairly tale.......but what if it isn't?

Or rather than have the choice be between "good" and "evil" or "heaven" and "hell" make it simply God or no God i.e. if you want a godly life and hereafter follow this "path" otherwise have a good life and enjoy your "godless" hereafter. This way he would have made the choice totallly about him and not about any external factors.

Then what would be the sacrifice in avoiding sin, if it were so easy that anyone could do it almost without effort?
True love requires sacrifice.
Besides, we tend not to value anything (like salvation) that comes too easily.

I think the basic idea is that "sinning" (by which I assume you mean sexual matters) is a temptation to be resisted, thereby strengthening your self-control and your obedience to the rules.
So much kaka, in my opinion. "An ye harm none, do what thou wilt."

TRUE! We will have to pay for our sins sooner or later...what goes around always comes back around..(and NO, I'm not talking about Justin's song, although his song is based [if little] on this concept)
