Why limit your answers to Christians?
Here's a Gnostic answer: Showing love is NEVER a sin.
Sin is only made by the rules and doings of mankind. There is no evil in the hereafter, only in this trial called life.
God is pure love and light.

I'm a Christian who believes that the only sin is to hurt or disrespect someone for your own benefit. I find the thought of two men having sex together repulsive but don't think they are sinners.

I live with my mom and we don't have sex. thank god. but, as a human being, yes I feel that two people 'in love' and of the same sex living together and not having sex is a sin. It is human nature to have sex with those we love/ are attracted to, and it is a sin to go against our nature.

Sin is disobedience against God's will for us. It is any line of conduct or any act which is not the outflow of faith.
Use these 3 guidelines that give us principles of conduct for our Christian life to answer your question:
1. conviction - that which anticipates with high enthusiasm
2. conscience - do you look back on what you have done wondering if you did right or wrong
3. consideration for others - are other people adversely affected by what you do.
Remember your thought life is bound to affect your conduct sooner or later. What you keep thinking about you will eventually do.

Yes, for there's no Biblical justification for it. The "love" in that relationship is bred of the same kind of lust that men and women have for each other (but shouldn't have). Since Romans chapter 1 calls homosexuality an abomination, I'd think it's safe to say God wouldn't approve.....

As long as you don't show any other type of sexuality like kissing or holding hands, then it's not a sin. It would just be considered as a friendship.

Are they homosexuals? Because ya know if they aren't and there in more were great friends thing I don't see what's wrong with it. But if there gay according to most (But not all Christian Faiths believe it's wrong to be gay just some Christians believe that others don't.) So I hope that helps some.

Sin comes from the heart. The "loving relationship" implies more than friendship, so yes.
"But I say unto you, That whosoever looketh on a woman to lust after her hath committed adultery with her already in his heart" (Matthew 5:28).
Two women would be worse than adultry.

Only if lust for each other is there would it be a sin in my opinion. Otherwise it'd just be two good friends living as roommates.

if they still lust for one another, but just abstain from the act it is still a sin. Jesus said if you think murder, adultry etc in your heart you still commited the sin.
