Too many carbs. Increase protein, as protein stops hunger.
Grab some peanuts, a bit of cheese, a protein snack

Hi there,

You are young and growing; it's ok to be hungry as long as you eat healthy and not give in to your hunger by eating crap all the time. If you don't like feeling hungry there are food tips to help you feel more full.

Basically, sugars and carbs release chemicals in your brain that tell you that you are still hungry, well more like that you are not full and so you can eat more. Eating fat releases chemicals in the brain that tells you you're full. Now that does not mean eating a whole brick of butter but you might need to add more fat to your diet as long as you do not have and heriditary cholesterol issues to deal with. The whip cream probably helped somewhat but if it was loaded with sugar, the sugars would counteract the affects of the fat. Whenever I eat berries I either pair them with cheese and/or nuts and seeds or pour heavy cream on them (MMMMMMMMMMMM whipping cream!). The fat not only will help you feel more full but the fat will also slow down the rate the body absorbs the sugars so you shouldn't hit that carb wall with the dreaded carb crash.

Hope this helps.

Cheers.

At 5 foot and 108 lbs your about right, weight wise. You're fifteen - are you sure your not growing a little? that could be causing the hunger - are you sleeping a lot? Hormones could also be causing it - a release of a lot of hormones can make you want something - in your case you could be interpreting the something as food. Increased hormone production also increases your metabolic rate which means you process food very quickly through your system and burn off a lot of energy - I know you said you don't do much exercise - but are you a little hyper maybe?

If you don't think it is any of the above you need to go see your doctor - get some blood tests - make sure everything is functioning as it should. At your age it is a good idea to start getting annual check ups anyway - as your body is going through a lot of changes.

Good luck

The food you are eating contains a lot of sugar which will cause you to feel hungry afterwards because your body will be producing a lot more insulin which results in making you feel hungry again. Right now you say you want to gain, be careful because it's not that easy getting the weight off as fast as you get it on. Add more fruit without the whipcream, pancakes try wheat pancakes and sugerless syrup. Also are you adding protein to your diet.

You're probably not eating stuff of nutritional value, with the exception of raspberries (minus the whip cream). When I have that problem I whole grain foods. They tend to keep you full for a while because they have fiber in them. Eat some protein as well.

You're eating too many simple carbs. Your body is burning thru them like wildfire. Eat something with some fiber and some protein.

Try something like whole-grain bread or crackers with peanut butter, or an apple with peanut butter. See if that helps.
