if it's any wonder why moderate, sane muslims never speak up!!! their relgion is full of murdering scum.

Well, once there are extremists in an organization, those who speak out against them from within the organization may constitute a more serious threat than their avowed enemies. They want to create the impression that they have the backing of the silent masses of their religion. Of course, reasonable people know that extremists are always in a minority. Otherwise it is not accurate to call them extremist, is it?

It is for that very reason - Muslims refusing to join the western societies they live in and becoming more amiable, active participants in them - that they're not supported by the populace when something like death threats happen. It's not "revenge" on our part; it's more like we're outside a box we've never been invited into, looking in.

In my country, the citizens, police and city officials would be appalled at news that a "fellow citizen" was receiving death threats merely for following the rules of our laws that prevent kidnappers, murderers and other barbarians from even THINKING they can get away with that sort of behavior! The law shuts these criminals down hard and other murdering trash think very long and seriously about doing it again.

In Muslim cities, they just accept that sort of criminal behavior as the status quo. If you run away from those countries for a better life in the west, take advantage of the fact that WE live in the 21st century and join your neighbours in keeping stone age barbarians from disrupting our lives and the lives of those we like and love.

Islam is no different than Christianity. Having been a public atheist most of my life, I have received death threats from irate Christians many times. Even here in Yahoo's R&S forum, I averaged about one death threat per week, until I shut down my answers e-mail. No rational person is safe as long as the criminally insane are allowed to mingle with the pious and thus shield themselves beneath a cloak of religious respectability. If moderate and liberal Christians and Muslims fail to curtail the activities of their own extremest brethren, the world will never be safe for people who know how to think for themselves.

The Wahhabi sect declares anyone outside their interpretation of Islam to be "Infidel" and "Apostate". According to Wahhabis, the punishment for apostacy is death. So they go around killing anyone who doesn't agree with them on every issue. Which no sane person does, because they are crazy.

Wahhsbism is a new movement. It is only about 200 years old and was rejected by the respected and reputable Islamic scholars at that time. Moderate muslims need to stand up and stop it.

Muslims are not bad people! Everyone stereo types them, thinking that they are bad ppl and all muslims are terrorists and all that stuff when THAT IS NOT TRUE!! I am a modern muslim american and I live my life like everyone else. I go shopping all the time, I love Hollister and Abercrombie, I'm a vegetarian, I hang out with my friends, I don't cover my hair, I go to the beach and yes wear 2 pieces, and everything else that a modern teenager girl does! People are soo stereo typical. It's soo annoying. and islam is not a religion that is full of murdering scum. That is soooo stupid to say.
