Is that really how you spell gesundheit? I thought it was German. No, I wouldn't find it rude, exactly, but somewhat disappointing. I usually say "bless you," rather than "God bless," to avoid having to sound like a Christian. I even say it on the bus when a total stranger sneezes. They usually say "Thank you."

First of all, the word is "Gesundheit", which is German for healthiness. I wouldn't find it rude, just strange. Though I do say "Gesundheit" when I'm the situation.

No it happens all the time. I'd be indifferent to anything they said.
