It is correct that beer is kept refrigerated at the store because of taste, however; once it is refrigertated, it MUST stay that way.....have you heard of "skunk" beer. When beer is refrigerated, then gets warm, then is re-refrigerated, it spoils. It will make him sick. PLEASE buy it warm if you do not intend to keep it refrigerated. He will have a much happier birthday because of it.

It kind of ruins it. - The ice melts and "waters down" the beer, and it makes the carbonation escape faster - I don't know the technical term, but it basically makes the beer go flat. Kind of nasty all around. Just stick them in the freezer on on some ice for about 10 minutes and they'll cool off some. Better if you can give it about 1/2 hour.

Nothing will happen to it :) Beers are kept cold because well hot beer tastes terrible.

It is only in the frig because people like to drink it cold. It stays out. it isn't gonna go bad as long as it is sealed in the can. It is just like soda you get in the store that is warm.

It can get a funky taste after being out of the cold for a day... Just hide it in the back of the fridge, under something.
