Methimazole is an antithyroid medicine. A single dose of 10 mg won't have much impact in your system provided you do not have any existing condition that would be affected by taking it. Just in case you will have sort of fever or sore throat after few days, you may be getting threads of its side effects but that is least likely to happen. There are reports stating that accidental ingestion of excess amounts of thyroid hormone results to "factitial hyperthyroidism" but the dose you have taken is just for the maintenance dose so nothing much to worry.
